Richard E. Evans is the managing partner of Peterson & Co., LLP as well as serving as a consultant for Advisors On Target, LLC.. Rick has expertise in general management issues and consults regularly in the areas of strategic planning, financial analysis, profit improvement, management methods and internal control procedures.

Rick is active in the San Diego tennis community, serving as both treasurer and president of Youth Tennis San Diego and also as a board member of the San Diego District Tennis Association for over ten years. He has previously served on the boards of the Easter Seals Society of San Diego, the La Jolla Youth Soccer League and the La Jolla Stage Company. He is also a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Rick began his career with Arthur Young & Co. and worked in both the audit and management services departments. In 1977, Rick joined Peterson & Co. and served as partner in charge of audit and accounting before becoming managing partner in 1981.

Rick earned an MBA in accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
