The former CEO of
Peterson & Co., LLP James A. Ande is a
consultant working with business owners
through Advisors On Target, LLC. His
areas of specialization include
management advisory services, corporate
team development, strategic planning,
financial analysis, and succession
planning. Tony works with his clients to
develop vision and mission statements,
articulate organizational values and
implement action plans to achieve their
goals. Tony has lectured
before organizations such as the
National Associated Certified Public
Accounting Firms and the Delphos Group.
Tony was also Adjunct Faculty for the
Union Institute from January 1994
through June 1996. He is a member of the
California Society of Certified Public
Accountants, as well as the American
Institute of Certified Public
Accountants.
Long committed to
community service, Tony is a founding
member of the board of directors of the
Boys & Girls Club of Ramona, CA, having
also served as Regional Chairman for the
Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San
Diego. In 1999, the North County
Philanthropy Council named Tony
“Volunteer of the Year.”
Tony began his public
accounting career in 1982 and started
his own accounting and tax practice in
1989. In 1993, Tony merged his practice
with William Conlin, Inc., becoming
president in 1995. In 1997, he merged
the accounting practice of William
Conlin, Inc. with Peterson & Co., LLP,
bringing together two of San Diego’s
oldest and most respected firms.
Tony is a graduate of
the University of Illinois - Urbana and
University of San Diego and holds
advanced degrees in Business
Administration and Executive Leadership.
